The study examines the impact of the Arab Spring revolutions on the Salafi movement in Yemen, focusing on the ideological and political transformations within this movement post-revolutions. It highlights how Salafi groups in Yemen, such as Al-Hikma Association and Al-Ihsan Association, were significantly influenced by these uprisings, prompting them to adopt new political stances and transition from purely religious advocacy to active political engagement. The study also sheds light on internal divisions and conflicts that arose among traditional and new Salafi leaders due to these changes. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical approach, the research relies on historical sources and contemporary analyses. The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of the Salafi movement in Yemen and the impact of the Arab Spring on it, emphasizing the potential for the Salafi movement to accept democratic principles and the concept of a civil state in the future.
