Issue 28

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
"And whatever good you send before you for yourselves, (i.e. Nawafil non-obligatory acts of worship: prayers, charity, fasting, Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), you will certainly find it with Allah, better and greater in reward..." [Al-Muzzammil: 20].

With hearts full of faith in Allah’s decree and spirits weighed down by profound grief and immense loss, Queen Arwa University Journal presents its twenty-eighth issue, carrying within its pages the ache of separation and the pain of a great loss. We mourn the passing of Professor Dr. Waheeba Ghalib Faree Al-Faqih, our founder and builder, who was a beacon of knowledge, creativity, and dedication to serving humanity.

Prof. Waheeba passed away after a remarkable journey filled with contributions and innovations that left an indelible mark on higher education, human rights, and community development. She was not only the first Yemeni woman to serve as Minister of Human Rights or the first female president of a private university in Yemen, but also a comprehensive national and humanitarian project. In 1996, she founded Queen Arwa University as a lighthouse of knowledge and a hub for creative ideas, transforming it into a towering academic institution that reflected her ambitious vision for building a better future for Yemen and generations to come.

The loss of a figure like Prof. Waheeba Faree leaves a deep void in both the academic and humanitarian landscapes. Yet, at the same time, it places upon all of us—professors, researchers, and students alike—the responsibility to continue the journey she began. Her legacy, embodied in her commitment to scientific research, her unwavering support for humanitarian causes, and her dedication to enhancing education as a tool for positive change, will forever remain a source of inspiration for us all.

In this issue, the journal sheds light on contemporary issues spanning political, educational, technological, and social dimensions. One analytical study examines South Africa's role in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, exploring its influence on the global diplomatic stage. Another cutting-edge research paper delves into artificial intelligence technologies, discussing the potential and impact of tools like ChatGPT in the educational landscape and their effectiveness in enhancing student capabilities. Additionally, several studies explore the effects of behavioral and economic factors on individuals and society. For instance, one scientific study investigates the relationship between proper nutrition and academic performance among medical college students, while another examines the extent to which Yemeni society embraces e-wallets as a modern financial solution. Furthermore, a research paper discusses the impact of technological advancements on unemployment rates in industrial sectors, tracking the transformations occurring in work environments amid rapid digitization. In the technical field, the journal offers a comprehensive review of the critical factors for successful software development using the Scrum methodology, highlighting its challenges and best practices according to the latest scientific literature.

As we present this issue, we renew our pledge to remain faithful to the legacy of Pro. Waheeba Faree and to continue walking the path she charted for us. With utmost effort and sincerity, we will strive to disseminate knowledge and make this journal a beacon of creativity and excellence, just as she envisioned.

Finally, we raise our hands in supplication to Allah Almighty, asking Him to envelop our beloved departed with His boundless mercy and forgiveness, grant her a place in His vast Paradise, and inspire her family, colleagues, and loved ones with patience and solace.

Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.
