Vol. 1 No. 8 (2019): Scientific symposium: spreading peace and conflict resolution

Within the framework of scientific and cultural activity, Queen Arwa University provided full funding to hold a political scientific symposium calling for peace and conflict resolution, the implementation of which was supervised by the Department of Political Science and the Deanship of the College of Economics and Administrative Sciences, which was held on Wednesday 4/17/2019 AD in the Great Hall, a scientific symposium entitled “ “Spreading peace and resolving conflicts.” The winners were chosen to participate in presenting the scientific papers that the scientific symposium aims to discuss by a committee formed by the decision of the university presidency, which stipulates the mechanism for selecting three scientific papers that speak in the required manner on the subject of the symposium. They are explained as follows:
1- Peaceful means of resolving disputes, Dr. Najeeb Obaid - Head of the Legal Treaties Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2- The development of the concept of peacebuilding in international relations, Dr. Fouad Sharhan - Professor of Political Science, Queen Arwa University.
3- Analysis of international conflicts, Dr. Adel Al-Sharabi, Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Diplomatic Institute and Queen Arwa University.
The symposium was attended by deans of colleges, heads of departments at the university, a number of employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other private universities, in addition to many male and female students at the university.
